What Is the Alliance Junior Debit Card?
The Alliance Junior Debit Card is designed to be your child's first step toward financial literacy! This card provides a safer, more convenient alternative to cash for individuals aged 13 to 17. It is linked to a deposit account and puts the power of payment, with the safety of parental control, right into your child's hands.
What Are the Benefits?
Financial Safety Net: The parent or guardian gets to set the daily spending limit (POS) and ATM withdrawal limit. This means you decide how much financial freedom your child has, ensuring they stay on budget.
Global Acceptance: The card is a dual-brand (MyDebit and MasterCard®), meaning it is accepted for payment at 29 million merchants around the world.
Online Ready: The card is enabled for Card-Not-Present (CNP) transactions, making online shopping possible (within the limits you set).
High Convenience: Your child can make quick, secure payments with contactless transactions (no PIN required for transactions up to RM250 in Malaysia).
Security Guaranteed: The card is protected by a 6-digit PIN for all payment types and is eligible for protection by PIDM (Perbadanan Insurans Deposit Malaysia).
Who Can Apply for This Debit Card?
Individuals from 13 years old to 17 years old.
