Making a claim might seem easy but if it's not done right, you could end up in a big mess. Zurich discharges you of your medical bills in two ways, with medical card or without:
Medical Card
Zurich Omni Health comes with a medical card that gives you a cashless experience just like a credit card. Here are the simple steps to put it into use:
- Whenever hospital admission is required, present your medical card to the hospital attendant and any deposit or upfront payment that otherwise would have been needed will be waived
- Your admission will be prioritised compared to those who do not hold a medical card
- Upon hospital discharge, all you got to settle is any co-insurance charges and the rest of your medical bill will be covered by Zurich
- These only apply if you are admitted to any of the Zurich panel hospitals
Without Medical Card
- The very first thing you'll have to do is notify Zurich of your incident as soon as possible
- Download and complete the Accident and Hospitalisation Claim Form. Do note that the second part of the form has to be filled in by your attending doctor
- You'll need to submit few supporting document as a prove such as hospital bills, police report (for accident), admission and discharge notes, and any medical reports that you might have
- Submit all completed documents to Zurich head office or your nearest branch and it's done!
