What can I get from AIA Fixed Rate Home Loan Package 3?

As a fixed interest home loan, you will know that your monthly installment is constant throughout the duration of the loan, even if the bank increases its Base Rate – there is one less thing to worry about.

Much like its predecessors, Package 3 combines some features from Package 1 and Package 2 – on the one hand, you are locking in a low interest rate of 4.99% p.a., on the other hand, AIA absorbs all costs associated to moving into your new house. To sum it up, you are saving more on cost of obtaining the loan as well as your monthly commitment!

You only need to borrow at least RM500,000 under this package; AIA will cover up to 90% of the financing of your new house.

What is my obligation?

You only have one job, which is pay your monthly installment on time and in full. Should you wish to pay extra, you may do so too as AIA calculates interest at daily rest, which means you’ll be saving interest instantly.

Can I apply for this loan if I’m not AIA policyholder?

You can, but with one condition. You are required to purchase AIA Group Mortgage Reducing Term Assurance or AIA Life Policy to secure the loan. If you have the latter, the coverage must not be less than the loan amount.
