What Is DuitGini Personal Loan?
DuitGini Personal Loan is an online personal loan of RM500 to RM10,000. It’s offered by E Senang Sdn Bhd (formerly Mualamat Biz Capital Sdn Bhd), a moneylender licensed by the Ministry of Local Government Development (KPKT) under licence number WL7272/07/01-4/160927. The licence is valid from 17 September 2025 to 16 September 2027.
You can apply online easily and repay through the DuitGini app or website. There’s no fixed loan purpose. DuitGini’s terms only require you to use the money for legal purposes.
Because DuitGini is a licensed moneylender and not a bank, your loan is covered under the Moneylenders Act 1951.
How Much Can I Borrow, And What Interest Rate Does DuitGini Charge?
You can borrow from RM500 to RM10,000, and DuitGini charges a flat interest rate of 18% a year. Interest is worked out on the full loan amount for the whole loan period, not on the balance that’s left as you repay.
You can work out your monthly instalment with this formula:
Formula: I = (P + P×R×T)/M
Where:
P = Principal Loan Amount (e.g. RM10,000.00)
R = Annual Flat Interest Rate (18% / 0.18)
T = Loan Tenure in years (e.g. 0.5)
M = Total Repayment Period in months (e.g. 6)
On the maximum loan of RM10,000, the calculation for three months (0.25 years) and for the maximum six months (0.5 years) works out as follows:
3 months:
- (RM10,000 + RM10,000 × 18% × 0.25) ÷ 3 = RM3,483.33
- Interest: RM450
- Total repayment: RM10,450
- Monthly instalment: RM3,483.33
- Effective Interest Rate (EIR): 26.80% p.a.
6 months:
- (RM10,000 + RM10,000 × 18% × 0.5) ÷ 6 = RM1,816.67
- Interest: RM900
- Total repayment: RM10,900
- Monthly instalment: RM1,816.67
- Effective Interest Rate (EIR): 30.23% p.a.
Interest is charged on the full RM10,000 for the whole loan period, even though you pay part of the loan back each month. The EIR counts only the balance you still owe each month, and the EIR figures above don’t include fees. A six-month loan costs RM450 more in interest than a three-month loan, but each instalment is RM1,666.66 lower.
Your exact rate is set out in your loan agreement, so check it before you sign. DuitGini’s terms and conditions also allow it to change your interest rate, instalment or due date by giving you written notice. If you don’t agree, you can end the agreement before the change starts, but you’ll have to repay everything you owe.
What Fees Will I Pay?
DuitGini says it doesn’t charge upfront fees. The following fees are applicable after your loan is paid out:
- Stamp duty: As per the Stamp Act 1949 (Revised 1989)
- Late payment charge: 8% p.a. on the overdue amount, counted daily
Can I Settle My Loan Early?
Before you settle, call customer service on +60 3 8699 7527 (8am to 10pm, Monday to Sunday). Ask for your settlement amount for the exact date you plan to pay, and get it in writing. After you pay, ask for written confirmation that the loan is fully settled.
How Do I Pay My Monthly Instalments?
You pay on the Repayment page of the DuitGini app or website. Tap “Pay Now” and check the amount. Your full repayment is filled in for you, and you can change it. Then choose a payment method and complete the payment.
What Happens If I Pay Late?
DuitGini charges late interest of 8% a year on the overdue amount for each day it’s overdue.
Late charge = overdue amount × 8% ÷ 365 × days overdue
If the RM1,816.67 instalment above is 10 days late, the late charge is about RM3.98. Late charges aren’t compounded, and the total can’t go above your outstanding principal. Fees from debt collection agencies aren’t part of that limit.
The T&C also allow DuitGini to pass your account to a third party for debt collection or legal action. If you know you’ll miss a payment, call DuitGini before the due date.
Who Can Apply For DuitGini Personal Loan?
You must be at least 18 years old and earning a minimum monthly income of RM1,000 to apply. All salaried employees and commission earners are eligible, including microentrepreneurs.
What Documents Do I Need?
When you apply, you’ll only need your valid IC and an active bank account to receive the loan transfer.
