What is BIMA Life Takaful Plan?

Your family and loved ones deserve to be protected should an unfortunate death event happens to you and BIMA Life Takaful Plan can help you with that.

BIMA Life is a whole life Takaful plan that is underwritten by AmMetLife Takaful Berhad. It is a monthly Takaful product that offers Takaful protection upon death and it pays a lump sum amount upon death either accidental or non-accidental of the insured person during the term of the policy.

In the Malaysian market, BIMA is a leading mobile-based insurance and health service that works together with renowned mobile operators such as Celcom and Digi to create a seamless platform for you to access product information, your insurance plan subscription, cancellation, claim management and customer service whenever necessary.

What are the benefits?

If you're looking for an affordable whole life Takaful that covers you and your family in the case of death by illness or accident, BIMA Life is your answer as it offers you contributions starting from as low as RM5 every month with death benefit cover amount up to RM100,000. There are four (4) plans that you can choose from:

PlansContribution (per month)Death Benefit Cover Amount
BIMA 5RM5RM20,000
BIMA 10RM10RM40,000
BIMA 15RM15RM60,000
BIMA 25RM25RM100,000

Additionally, you may benefit from the cover amount stated above should you pay the contribution in full every month. If you only pay half of the contribution in a month, the death benefit cover amount for the following month will be in proportion to the share of the contribution you paid.

For example if you take up the BIMA 5 Plan, and you only pay RM2.50 which is half of the contribution every month, you can only get a Takaful coverage amount of RM10,000 (50% of the total death benefit) in the following month.

Please note that the contribution is not guaranteed, and BIMA reserves the right to revise the contribution. BIMA will notify you on any changes to the contribution with at least 30 days notice.

How do I pay my contributions?
