What if I'm servicing multiple personal loans and credit cards with other banks?
It can be overwhelming managing repayments for multiple personal loans and credit card accounts you have with various banks.
Not to mention, the different interest rates charged meant different repayment amounts for multiple banks to remember!
Great news! There is an option for you to simplify repayment of up to 5 credit cards and/or personal loan accounts you currently have into ONE debt consolidation account.
It is an unsecured loan with a fixed rate that can help you to refinance your current personal loan or credit card debts from other banks.
What are the benefits of Citibank's Debt Consolidation:
- Simplify cash flow management from only one debt consolidation account
- Competitive interest rates of 6.40% - 7.20% per annum

How would repayment work for debt consolidation?
If you did not opt for cash out, the full approved amount which is granted to you for consolidation purposes will be disbursed directly to the respective banks via GIRO transfer.
An example of how debt consolidation works:
Total Consolidated Loan Amount | Tenure | Interest Rate | Monthly Repayment | Total Repayment to Citibank |
RM50,000 | 60 months | 6.40% (Effective rate: 11.90%) | RM1,109.70 | RM66,581.84 |
So instead of making repayments to up to 5 different accounts or banks, you will only need to do so for one debt consolidation account ie. Citibank.
Please note that the approval of the loan amount and rate are subject to Citibank's credit assessment.
