However, you should do so after the lock-in period of 2 years as you will be charged with RM200 or 3% of the outstanding balance (whichever is greater) as a penalty.
What if I'm servicing multiple personal loans and credit cards with other banks?
It can be overwhelming managing repayments for multiple personal loans and credit cards account you have with various banks.
Not to mention, the different interest rates charged meant different repayment amounts for multiple banks to remember!
Great news! There is an option for you to simplify repayment of up to 5 credit cards and / or personal loan accounts you currently have into ONE debt consolidation account.
It is an unsecured loan with a fixed rate that can help you to refinance your current personal loan or credit card debts from other banks.

How would repayment work for debt consolidation?
If you did not opt for cash out, the full approved amount which are granted to you for consolidation purposes will be disbursed directly to the respective banks via GIRO transfer.
An example of how debt consolidation works:

Am I qualified to apply for Citibank Personal Loan if I'm blacklisted?
Depending on your credit history with other financial institutions because all this information (outstanding credit card, personal loan, home loan or car loan debts) will be captured in CCRIS / CTOS (a system that collects credit information on borrowers, not blacklisting them).
Assuming you have poor credit standing due to irregular payments, the best course of action would be to break the habit and start making your payments on time to avoid future hurdles.
Citibank is more likely to approve your personal loan application if you can show that you are managing your personal finances, rather than accumulating more debt.
