Who is eligible to apply for the Lonpac Easy Travel Classic?
For the lone traveler, you must be at least 16 years old to apply. On the other hand, for those traveling with family, the minimum age for child coverage is at least 6 months to a maximum of 25 years old. There is no maximum age for this policy, but your coverage will reduce to half after the age of 70.
What are the main benefits provided by Lonpac Easy Travel Classic?
With Lonpac Easy Travel, you can travel in comfort whether to a foreign land or within your home country but only for trips from East Malaysia to West Malaysia and vice versa. This policy covers against personal accident, medical expenses, and travel inconveniences while overseas. You will even be allowed reimbursement for follow-up treatment in Malaysia for up to RM250, applicable for traditional or sinseh treatment only.
Another additional benefit would be inconvenience benefit in the unlikely event that your plane has been hijacked. You will receive cash amounting to RM200 for every 24 hours.
Can I buy a separate cover for my child?
Yes, you can. 30% of the family plan premium will be charged for his or her individual plan. The proposal form for the child will require a signature from one parent.
Can I claim for treatment for personal injury at a hospital overseas?
If your condition results from a sickness or accident while on your travels, you are able make claims for your medical expenses. You will not be able to claim for self-inflicted injuries.
Can I get a refund if my trip is canceled?
It depends on the circumstances. If your trip is canceled due to an insured condition, such as your travel plan will be reimbursed for all travel and accommodation expenses paid in advanced.
Is an annual plan available for Lonpac EasyTravel Classic?
