6. HSBC Balance Conversion Plan
With a minimum amount of RM500, you can choose to convert your retail transaction(s) or full/partial outstanding retail balances to affordable 36 months instalment.
7. HSBC Cash Instalment Plan
Need instant cash? HSBC Cash Instalment Plan is a cash loan plan with exclusive interest at 4.88% per annum.
Please take note that this applied only to cardholders whose credit card is approved in less than 6 months.
You can convert your available credit limit into instant cash with your choice of monthly repayment up to 60 months.

Another instalment option is via HSBC’s Card Instalment Plan where it comes with 0% instalment for up to 36 months at over 500 participating retail outlets.

What is the HSBC credit card interest rate?
HSBC adopts a tiered interest rate in a range of 15% - 18% per annum. The interest rate charged will commonly be higher should you have a history of inconsistent repayments and lower interest rate if you are prompt in repayments.
What is the minimum monthly repayments for HSBC credit cards?
HSBC members are required to make minimum monthly repayments of 5% of the current balance or a minimum of RM50, whichever is higher.
Monthly repayments will have to be made on the stipulated due date.
Failing to do so may result in a late payment charge of a minimum of RM10 or 1% of total outstanding balance (excluding interests and fees), whichever is higher and up to a maximum of RM100.
How much does it cost to get a replacement HSBC card?
If your card got lost, stolen or damaged, you can get a replacement credit card for RM50 per card within 5-7 working days from the date of issuance.
Am I eligible to apply for HSBC credit cards?
To apply for an HSBC card, the principal cardholder will have to be at least 21 years old, while the supplementary cardholder is to be at least 18 years old.
Minimum annual income differs from card to card.
