PERKESO’s MYFutureJobs platform had 96,700 active job listings as of 30 June, out of 668,321 vacancies advertised on the platform to date, Human Resources Minister Datuk Seri R. Ramanan said.
He said nearly 40% of the active listings are high-skilled roles, more than 30% are in the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) sector, and almost 20% offer salaries above RM5,000 a month.
From January to May, PERKESO organised 2,989 MYFutureJobs Career Carnival programmes involving 86,594 jobseekers, of whom 14,029 secured jobs and another 15,809 were called for interviews, Ramanan said. The government also provides Mobility Assistance of up to RM1,000 to help jobseekers relocate to start a new job.
Ramanan said the ministry, through PERKESO, will continue working with employers to help more people access quality jobs and build sustainable careers.
