Online wealth management platform FSMOne is now able to offer a broader range of investment offerings for its investors, following the launch of iFAST Capital Sdn Bhd’s stocks and exchange-traded fund (ETF) brokerage services on the platform. FSMOne was originally the online unit trust distribution arm of iFAST Capital.

With this update, FSMOne investors will now have convenient access to the stocks and ETFs listed on Bursa Malaysia. This is on top of being able to custom build their own portfolios from a range of available products, such as unit trusts, direct bonds, managed portfolios and insurance.

The general manager of FSMOne Malaysia, Wong Weiyi said that they are grateful to be the latest Participating Organisation to be brought onboard Bursa Malaysia since 2009. A Participating Organisation is a company that carries on the business of dealing in securities, conforming to the rules of Bursa Malaysia.

“Since last year, our client base has grown to over 100,000 active accounts. Therefore, with the launch of stocks and ETF trading platform, we believe that our investors will appreciate this enhanced multi-asset platform,” added Wong. For context, FSMOne brands itself as a multi-asset platform as investors will be able to access a range of investment products all in one place, at a competitive brokerage fee of 0.05% with a minimum of RM8.80.

Meanwhile, iFAST Capital – a wholly-owned Malaysian subsidiary of iFAST Corporation Ltd – noted that this move is in line with its commitment to provide the best of wealth management all under one platform. The company also seeks to add value by providing expert research so that investors are always aware of the latest market updates and can make informed decisions when investing. This is especially given the heightened interest in financial markets by fresh investors.

“We publish periodic articles and host events with fund managers to ensure our investors are always ready to make a decision in all sorts of market conditions,” the company noted in a statement, adding that it is also looking to provide stocks and ETFs listed in the United States and Hong Kong soon. This is in hopes that investors will have the ability to create a globally diversified portfolio.

If you’d like to start investing with FSMOne, the platform is currently running a promotion where both existing and new investors can enjoy 0% commission fees for the entire month of April with no limit. You can sign up at the official FSMOne website.
