Malaysian investors now have another platform to trade directly on the Singapore Exchange (SGX) through the Moomoo MY trading app, allowing them to trade and invest in ETFs, REITs, Structured Warrants, and Daily Leverage Certificates (DLCs) listed on the SGX.
The launch of SGX trading on the Moomoo Malaysia platform is part of a broader initiative to create a more inclusive investment environment. Ivan Mok, CEO of Moomoo Securities Malaysia Sdn. Bhd (Moomoo MY) explained, “Our goal has always been to democratise investment opportunities for Malaysians. By integrating SGX offerings into our platform, along with our market insights, tools, and educational resources, we are enabling users to tap into a diverse and robust market, thereby fostering more informed and strategic investment decisions.”

In addition to expanding market access, Moomoo Malaysia is also introducing a competitive pricing structure on SGX trades, including 0% commission*, to significantly lower the cost barriers for investors. The expansion also benefits SGX-listed companies, by allowing them to turn to Moomoo’s Investor Relations (IR) solutions to reach an extensive regional base of investors on the Moomoo app.
This development marks a significant step in Moomoo’s ongoing efforts to enhance financial inclusivity and literacy among Malaysian investors, further solidifying its position as a key player in the regional investment landscape.
