StashAway, EdgeProp Introduce Cash Incentives To Encourage Malaysians To Save For Future Homes

Digital wealth manager StashAway has announced a collaboration with property website EdgeProp to roll out cash incentives of up to RM130 per person for those who use StashAway to invest towards their homeownership goals.

In a statement, StashAway said that prospective homeowners can qualify for an initial RM30 cashback when they sign up and start investing with StashAway via the promotion link. For new customers, note that you must make your first deposit into your StashAway investment portfolio within 30 days after account verification in order to be eligible for the RM30 cashback reward (credited into your StashAway Simple cash management portfolio). You’re also required to stay invested for at least 3 months; a partial or full withdrawal made from the portfolio will mean that the RM30 cashback offer will be voided.

Meanwhile, existing users must apply the promotion code in-app before making a deposit to your StashAway portfolio in order to obtain the initial RM30 cashback reward (also to be credited into your StashAway Simple). Do also be aware that this promo only applies to new deposits made into your investment portfolios. Internal fund transfers – such as from StashAway Simple or other investment portfolios – are not valid.

Following that, all eligible investors can claim another RM100 bonus reward when they’ve purchased a property using the funds from their portfolios. Documents such as the sale and purchase (S&P) agreement or home loan documents must be presented as proof.

To note, EdgeProp START is a partnership programme by EdgeProp that rewards Malaysian homebuyers for achieving specific milestone in the homebuying process. More specifically, you can unlock vouchers for products and services from various brands that related to their home purchases, including from IKEA, Samsung and Livspace – and now StashAway.
