Versa has enhanced the ongoing introductory promo for its recently launched Private Retirement Scheme (PRS) offerings, allowing those who invest a minimum cumulative of RM3,000 in the PRS funds between today until 28 December 2023 to earn 12% p.a. nett return on their Versa Cash funds. This is up from the original 6% p.a. promo rate that was first offered (which was itself already bumped up from an existing promo rate of 4.3% p.a.).

In its announcement, Versa clarified that this promotional nett return rate is applicable only for the month of December and the first RM10,000 balance in your Versa Cash account. It will also be prorated on a daily basis for the whole month. So for instance, if your RM3,000 PRS investment is completed by 1 December 2023, you’ll enjoy the 12% p.a. rate on the first RM10,000 balance in your Versa Cash account for the whole month of December, but if you complete the transaction in mid-December, the return rate will only apply to the remaining days of December.

Versa further explained that investors who had invested in its PRS offerings much earlier – when they were first launched back in October 2023 – will also be able to tap into the upsized 12% p.a. rate for December. This is amended from the earlier offer, where the original 6% p.a. nett return rate will apply for 90 days (inclusive of December). As is the case before, the returns will be automatically credited into your Versa Cash account within 30 working days, in the form of units.

Aside from that, note that this reward is awarded on a first-come first-served basis, capped at the first 5,000 investors only, so if you’d like to benefit from the campaign, it’d make sense to register and make the required RM3,000 PRS investment as soon as possible. This is especially since it will take a minimum of five working days for the deposited amount to show up in your PRS account balance.

Aside from the upsized nett return rate, Versa also celebrated the launch of its PRS offerings with several other deals, including a Versa Cash bonus of RM50 and another RM50 referral reward if you refer a friend who also invests a minimum of RM3,000 in Versa’s PRS funds.

For context, Versa had partnered with Affin Hwang Asset Management (AHAM) Capital to introduce a total of six PRS funds, catering to different levels of risk appetite (conservative, moderate, and growth funds) and preference for shariah compliance.
