Amanah Saham Nasional Berhad (ANSB) has alerted investors that it will be temporarily suspending its services from 4 to 7 June 2022, including all unit trust transactions. This is to facilitate the migration of its current operating system to a new system, in a bid to enhance investors’ experience.

With this, the last transaction date for all funds will be on 3 June 2022, with the exception of the following funds – which end earlier on 2 June:

  • ASN Equity 5
  • ASN Equity Global
  • ASN Imbang 3 Global
  • ASN Sara 2

ASNB also clarified that this suspension will involve all ASNB funds on all channels, including its branches (as well as kiosk machines), agents, electronic, and online transactions via the myASNB portal and mobile. Transactions via various banks’ internet banking (Maybank2u, CIMB Clicks, RHBNow, Affinonline, AmOnline, and HLB Connect) and automated teller machines (ATMs) at Maybank and CIMB will also be barred during this period.

Given this update, the chief executive officer and executive direct of ASNB, Mohammad Hussin urged unitholders to plan and perform all their necessary transactions before the suspension date to avoid any inconveniences. “For those who plan to make online redemptions, perform the transaction as early as possible so that the money can be credited before the suspension date,” he further said.

To note, ASNB’s online redemptions can only be performed via the myASNB portal or mobile app, with a maximum limit of RM2,000 or three transactions per month. Successful redemptions will be credited into the unitholders’ registered bank account on the following working day.

Mohammad Hussin also commented that this migration is essential for ASNB to enhance the investment experience of its unitholders across all channels. “The strategic move to migrate to the new system is essential in providing support for a more convenient and modern technology for ASNB to introduce future advanced products and services,” he shared.

All of ASNB’s services – including over the counter and online – will resume on 8 June 2022.
