PTPTN Launches First-Ever Loan Restructuring Campaign
Author Avatar

The National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN) has announced its first-ever loan restructuring campaign for all borrowers with arrears, offering a restructuring plan with a minimum repayment of RM300 as well as various repayment options.

The campaign, running from now until 31 July, will require borrowers with arrears to make a minimum of RM300 in overdue payments to restructure their loans and set up either salary deduction or direct debit for future repayments to ensure consistent and organised repayments.

In addition, the campaign will also offer borrowers to negotiate for alternative repayment options, including switching to Ujrah, loan consolidation, and rescheduling.

PTPTN chairman Datuk Norliza Abdul Rahim stated that the loan restructuring campaign will help reduce and achieve zero arrears for borrowers, which will improve their credit ratings. She also stressed that repayments are crucial for the sustainability of the funds for future generations.

PTPTN borrowers who are keen to take up the loan restructuring can find out more about the campaign via various channels, including the PTPTN Careline at 03-2193 3000, live chat on the PTPTN portal, and via PTPTN’s official social media channels and branches.
