How can I apply for RHB Debit Card-i MasterCard?

To apply for RHB Debit Card-i MasterCard, you can head over to RHB bank branch to open a Savings Account or Current Account. Once your application has been approved, you will be issued with an ATM and debit card at a small fee.

There are 2 types of RHB Debit Card-i MasterCard you can choose from: one with overseas cashback feature at RM12, and the regular one at RM8 per year.

What are the benefits of RHB debit card?

Owning a debit card is convenient and efficient in a sense that you do not have to queue at ATM machine to withdraw cash every time you need to pay for purchase, instead just flash or wave your debit card at POS terminal to make payment. Also, it is safer to carry around as compared to cash.

RHB debit card is accepted globally. So when you are traveling abroad, spending using RHB debit card can earn you 0.5% cashback for every retail transaction.

What are the fees and charges I have to pay?

Besides annual fee, you are also subjected to local and foreign banks MEPS withdrawal fees of RM1 and RM4 respectively. If your RHB debit card is stolen, faulty and lost, you will need to replace the debit card immediately at a fee.

Who can apply for RHB Debit Card-i MasterCard?

Anyone aged 19 years old and above, with or without income and has RHB Savings Account or RHB Current Account, can apply for RHB Debit Card-i MasterCard. For minors age 12-18 years old, parents or guardian are required to sign an Indemnity form.
