Maybank has announced planned system maintenance that will temporarily affect several services on Saturday, 20 September 2025.
Between 3:00 am and 8:00 am, DuitNow services (including transfers, requests, and QR), JomPay, Interbank GIRO, and FPX will be unavailable on Maybank2u web, the MAE app, and Maybank2u Biz platforms. Debit mandate services will also be affected during this period.
In addition, ATMs will not be available between 12:00 am and 8:00 am, while the currency exchange service in the MAE app will be interrupted from 12:00 am to 6:00 am.

Maybank advised customers to perform transactions in advance to avoid disruption.
Bank Islam has also scheduled maintenance [PDF] on the same day, 20 September 2025. From 2:00 am to 6:00 am, all transactions using Bank Islam Credit Card-i and Debit Card-i will be temporarily unavailable.

The bank has apologised for any inconvenience and assured customers that normal services will resume immediately after the maintenance window.
Both banks highlighted that these maintenance activities are part of regular efforts to ensure smoother and more secure banking experiences. Customers are encouraged to plan their transactions ahead of time to minimise inconvenience during the affected hours.
