Maybank To Hold First-Ever Virtual Treats Fair To Shop With TreatsPoints & Amex Membership Rewards
Author Avatar

Maybank is set to hold its popular Treats Fair event virtually for the first time ever. In light of current Covid-19 developments in the country, the bank is prioritising safety and embracing the new normal with a fully virtual event.

Exclusive to Maybank debit, credit, and charge cardholders, the Maybank Treats Fair is an event where cardholders can use their accumulated Treats Points or Membership Rewards points to pay for items at the event. Cardholders can also redeem special items of the day, bid for high-value products, and enjoy better redemption rates.

The Maybank Treats Fair 2020 will be held from 2-4 July 2020, and the entire event will be hosted online at www.treatsfair.com. Cardholders can look forward to over 10,000 e-vouchers to be redeemed, as well as multiple flash sales.

In addition, there will be a one-day special on 3 July, which will feature a reduced points conversion rate of 400 points = RM1 – a 20% discount from the usual points conversion rate of 500 points = RM1. On top of that, purchases made with Maybank 0% EzyPay Instalment Plan will be rewarded with 5x points, which will be a big benefit as they only normally earn 1x point.

Other interesting events happening on the one-day special include the TREATS Bidder, which lets you bid for items with your Treats Points or Membership Rewards points. There’ll also be a TREATS Virtual Wheel, as well as flash sales offering gadgets up to 50% off and quite possibly the best news for durian lovers: 1kg of Musang King at just 3,960 points (that’s just RM9.90!)
