Maybank has announced that it is reducing the minimum annual spending required for customers holding selected credit cards to be entitled to an automatic annual fee waiver for 2022.
“As a gesture of our appreciation for your continuous support, we are pleased to inform that we are extending the reduced minimum annual spending requirement from RM80,000 to RM50,000 for automatic fee waiver to the year 2022,” the bank noted in its notice.
This revision will involve the cardholders of seven Maybank premier credit cards, namely:
Maybank further clarified that customers will not be required call the bank or fill in any forms to enjoy the perk offered. Instead, the revision will take effect automatically for cards with anniversaries between January to December 2022.

member since 2013 for maybank infinite card. How to spend during pendemic. Asked for waiver and was denied RM 800 fee is just too much. Maybank not that friendly anymore.
