Great Eastern Life Assurance (Malaysia) Bhd  has introduced two new medical insurance plans, Great MediValue  and Great MediValue Plus, offering Malaysians medical coverage with enhanced benefits and no lifetime limit.

High Annual Limits with Extensive Coverage

The Great MediValue plan provides an overall annual limit of RM5 million, while the G MediValue Plus plan offers RM15 million. Both plans have no overall lifetime limit, ensuring continued protection for policyholders throughout their lives.

Coverage includes pre- and post-hospitalisation treatments, intensive care expenses, surgery fees, and outpatient support. Customers will also benefit from a wide range of cancer-focused coverage, from genomic testing to advanced treatment options.

Rewards for Healthy Living

Policyholders will be rewarded for maintaining good health and for not making any claims within every two-year period. This approach encourages preventive care and responsible healthcare usage.

Launch of The Great Journey Programme

Alongside the new plans, Great Eastern  launched The Great Journey  programme in partnership with 85 hospitals and over 1,000 clinics nationwide. Partners include  Sunway Healthcare Group, IHH Healthcare Malaysia, KPJ Healthcare, Asia OneHealthcare, CareClinics Healthcare Services, Qualitas Medical Group, Poliklinik Dr Azhar Dan Rakan-Rakan, and PMG Medical Clinic.

Great Eastern CEO, Datuk Koh Yaw Hui said the programme is designed to provide integrated, comprehensive medical care with coordinated support at every stage of a policyholder’s healthcare journey.

Access to Advanced Medical Services

Through The Great Journey, policyholders will have access to advanced medical treatments, leading-edge technology, and dedicated hospital support throughout their stay. Post-hospitalisation follow-up treatments are also included to support recovery.

Additional privileges include exclusive lounge access, priority admission, and Kiddo Express, which provides seamless hospital admission for children. Fee waivers and Covid-19 screening tests are also available to eligible policyholders.
