PDRM Offers Up To 60% Discount On Traffic Summonses In Conjunction With Police Day

The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) is offering a discount of up to 60% on various traffic summonses from today until 31 March 2023, in conjunction with the 216th Police Day celebration.

Announced by the Kuala Lumpur Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department via the PDRM’s social media, the discount will be applicable to all summonses, except for those issued for the following trespasses:

  • Beating the traffic light
  • Emergency lane offences
  • Overtaking at double lines
  • Dangerous overtaking
  • Accident offences
  • Non-compoundable (NC) summonses
  • Court cases
  • Exhaust modifications
  • Offences related to heavy vehicles/lorries
  • Warrant summonses
  • Op Selamat tickets

PDRM also clarified that the discount is valid for in-person payments at all traffic summons payment counters in contingent and district police headquarters (IPK and IPD, respectively), as well as payments made online via the MyBayar Saman website and app.

Those who wish to use the MyBayar Saman service can register as a user on the official portal here. Alternatively, they can download the app from Google Play, the App Store, and Huawei AppGallery.
