This May AmBank is treating all mothers and daughters to a special offer on their savings. Starting on 6 May 2013 new and existing female customers who invest in a Fixed Deposit or Am50Plus for 9 months are entitled to a promotional interest/expected profit rate of 3.55% p.a.

The minimum deposit amount for new individual customers is RM20,000 while existing AmBank customers who are maintaining an AmBank or AmIslamic Bank Retail Deposit account(s) are required to deposit a minimum of RM10,000 to the new fixed deposit account for 9 months.

In addition new AmBank credit cardholders who recently had their cards approved by 31 May 2013 will be subject to an additional 0.10% p.a. above the promotional rate to 3.65% p.a. However in order to qualify for the bonus interest rate customers must spend a minimum of RM350 for Gold Cards and a minimum of RM500 for Visa Signature and Platinum cards within 2 months of the card’s approval date.
