It’s a Rewards Points windfall with Citibank Rewards Platinum Card!

The bank is generously dishing out 20,000 welcome points to all new cardholders in its latest credit card promotion. The only catch is you’ve got to spend RM500 or more within 60 days of card approval.

For a little perspective, here’s some of the stuff on Citibank’s Rewards Points catalogue that you can redeem with 20,000 points: a Panasonic sandwich maker, a Morgan slow cooker, a Casio sports watch, an Arnold Palmer laptop backpack or even RM50 Giant or Isetan vouchers.

There’s no traditional annual fee imposed on the card. However, you’ll be charged RM100 to subscribe to each reward category (Shopping, Entertainment, Driving, Home, Travel) on which you enjoy your 5x Rewards Points.

Two of these categories are given to you for free during the first year. You’ll also get a subscription fee waiver on one category with every RM15,000 you spend on your principal card annually.
