Get Restaurant Food At Half Price With Value Food
Author Avatar

Every day, restaurants, bakeries and cafes are left with food that goes unsold. Value Food turns that surplus into a deal for nearby consumers, with Value Bags priced at 50% to 70% off the usual retail value.

Merchants On The Platform

Value Food works with over 300 merchants across the Klang Valley, including established names like Krispy Kreme, Kenny Rogers Roasters, and Paris Baguette.

The app organises these merchants into four categories: Meals, Groceries, Breads & Pastries, and Others. You can also see how many Value Bags are available and when they can be collected before making a reservation.

How To Get Your Value Bag

To get started, download the app on iOS or Android and browse merchants near you. Each Value Bag contains whatever the business has left over that day, so the contents are a surprise until you collect it.

Payment is done through the app. Orders are self-collected from the merchant, though you can also arrange delivery through a local e-hailing service.

Current Coverage And Expansion

Value Food currently operates across the Klang Valley and is working to expand to other parts of the country. The platform is also open to onboarding more merchants, so the selection is likely to grow.

Other Surplus Food Apps In Malaysia

If you’re outside the Klang Valley, ReMeal is a similar app that connects consumers to cafes, bakeries and restaurants with excess food at discounted prices. Both apps are free to download and follow the same browse, reserve and collect approach.

Eating out now costs 2.5% more than a year ago, making discounts like these increasingly valuable for consumers. While cooking at home remains one of the best ways to save money, platforms like Value Food can help make restaurant meals and cafe visits a little more affordable. Here’s hoping more merchants come on board and that the service expands beyond the Klang Valley, giving more Malaysians access to these savings.
