SNS Network And NVIDIA Unveil Malaysia’s First AI Cloud Infrastructure

SNS Network Technology Berhad, in collaboration with NVIDIA, has launched Malaysia’s first fully managed, locally hosted AI cloud infrastructure service. Powered by 64 NVIDIA Hopper GPUs across eight Dell PowerEdge XE9680 servers, this cutting-edge AI Factory leverages NVIDIA Quantum-2 InfiniBand networking and NVIDIA AI Enterprise software to deliver high-performance computing through GPU-as-a-Service (GPUaaS).

Designed to accelerate AI adoption among Malaysian enterprises, SNS Network’s AI Factory will facilitate industry growth and talent development through training programmes and Proof of Concept (POC) activities. The infrastructure is housed at Telekom Malaysia Berhad’s Klang Valley Data Centre in Cyberjaya, with half of its computing capacity dedicated to commercial workloads, while the remainder is reserved for AI growth initiatives, including POCs, industry training, bootcamps, and hackathons.

This AI infrastructure is set to support a broad spectrum of industries, including financial services, education, retail, telecommunications, manufacturing, and healthcare. With a flexible subscription model, SNS Network aims to cater to the diverse computing needs of AI-driven enterprises, offering a scalable and cost-effective alternative to building in-house AI capabilities.

To help businesses transition seamlessly to AI-powered workflows, SNS Network is introducing an AI Readiness Assessment and POC service for selected qualified customers. Supported by NVIDIA, this initiative provides organisations with a tailored roadmap to assess AI capabilities, identify optimal use cases, and conduct small-scale AI deployments before committing to full-scale implementation.

Local hosting ensures compliance with Malaysia’s data privacy and security regulations, providing enterprises with data sovereignty while granting access to state-of-the-art AI infrastructure. This approach removes the need for intensive capital expenditure and allows businesses to scale their computing needs as required.

Ko Yun Hung, Managing Director of SNS Network, highlighted the company’s commitment to advancing Malaysia’s AI ecosystem through accessible infrastructure and talent development. He emphasised that SNS Network’s AI Factory aligns with Malaysia’s national aspirations to foster innovation, ethical AI development, and industry collaboration.

“This initiative will democratise access to AI infrastructure, allowing enterprises and institutions to harness AI’s full potential. GPUaaS is a natural progression for SNS Network, building on our expertise in supplying AI super servers tailored to client needs,” he said.

Ko further noted that the company’s early-mover advantage places it in a strong position to capitalise on growth opportunities within the AI data centre value chain. With rising demand, SNS Network is committed to expanding its capabilities and driving AI adoption across Malaysia.

Customers can subscribe to SNS Network’s GPUaaS on a monthly or annual basis, with reserved instance options available for one to three years. Pricing starts at RM35,000 per NVIDIA Hopper GPU per month, while an entire Dell XE9680 server with eight NVIDIA Hopper GPUs is available for RM240,000 per month.

Through this initiative, SNS Network is reinforcing its role in Malaysia’s AI transformation by equipping businesses, government agencies, and educational institutions with the necessary infrastructure, expertise, and support to drive the country’s AI future forward.
