At its annual Treats Fair event, Maybank announced a partnership with Agoda, making it the first bank in Malaysia to offer redemption points for travel bookings. Through this collaboration, Maybank cardholders can now redeem Agoda vouchers using their TreatsPoints (TP).

Cardholders who redeem Agoda vouchers at the Treats Fair event in Mid Valley Exhibition Centre (MVEC) from now until 11 August 2024 can take advantage of the event-wide redemption rate of 400 TP = RM1. Cardholders may redeem RM100 or RM200 Agoda vouchers at 40,000 TP and 80,000 TP, respectively, which is lower than the redemption rate after the event, which will be set at 42,500 TP and 85,000 TP, respectively.

This year’s Maybank Treats Fair event, besides the usual flurry of activities and presence of celebrities including Manchester United football legend Ryan Giggs, also marked a milestone for Maybank. This year’s Treats Fair is the 20th year Maybank has done so, making it the longest-running bank loyalty redemption event in Malaysia, gaining an entry to the Malaysia Book of Records.
