The Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (MATTA) has announced that the MATTA Fair Online will take place from 9 to 15 September 2020. After postponing its usual physical fair this year, the online fair is a new initiative for MATTA members to sell their holiday packages for both domestic and future international travel.

MATTA President Datuk Tan Kok Liang said that exhibitors will be giving their best deals including value-added services at special rates and bargain prices, with the offerings in line with the current domestic travel demand.

“Consumers can look forward to many holiday and travel packages with a range of niche products and product updates,” he said.

Datuk Tan also said that they are working hard through the MATTA Fair Online despite the challenging conditions of the Covid-19 pandemic, collaborating with potential sponsors and partners including Tourism Malaysia, Malaysia Airlines, Penang Global Tourism, Malaysian Association of Hotels, Malaysian Association of Amusement Theme Park and Family Attractions, Association of Malaysian Spas, Boost, IPAY88, and other state tourism offices.

MATTA is currently inviting its members to participate as exhibitors in the online fair, with registration open until 10 August.
