Affin Bank has announced updates to its Airport Lounge Programme in Malaysia, affecting access to Plaza Premium Lounge locations. The bank informed cardmembers of changes in participating airport lounges, citing recent policy updates aimed at enhancing the traveller experience.

As of 15 February 2025, certain lounge locations are no longer available for Affin cardmembers. These include Flight Club Signature at KLIA Terminal 1, The Summerhouse at KLIA Terminal 1, and Flight Club at Kota Kinabalu International Airport. While these lounges have been removed from the programme, alternative Plaza Premium Lounge locations remain accessible across Malaysia’s major airports.

At Kuala Lumpur International Airport, Affin cardmembers can access Plaza Premium Lounge CP21 in the International Departure Contact Pier Terminal. For those travelling through KLIA Terminal 2, Plaza Premium Lounge@Aerotel, located on Level 2M at Gateway@KLIA2, remains available, along with Flight Club Grab ‘n’ Go at the KLIA2 gateway.

In Langkawi International Airport, the Plaza Premium Lounge in the Departure Hall continues to be part of the programme. At Penang International Airport, travellers can access Plaza Premium Lounge on the Mezzanine Floor in International Departures, as well as the Plaza Premium Lounge in Domestic Departures.

Affin Bank also advised cardmembers to refer to its official list of participating lounges for the most up-to-date information on available airport facilities, which can be found here.
