AmBank is running an online spending campaign on its Mastercard Debit Card from 8 April to 30 June 2026, rewarding the first two e-commerce transactions on eligible cards with cashback in the form of Touch ‘n Go eWallet credits. A monthly grand prize of RM10,000 in Touch ‘n Go credits runs alongside the cashback for the duration of the campaign.
The campaign is open to existing AmBank Mastercard Debit Cardholders aged 18 and above who have not made a purchase on their card in the six months before 8 April 2026. A valid email address registered with the bank is also required, since rewards are delivered digitally. No enrolment is needed to participate.
The reward is split into two stages tied to your first and second online transactions during the campaign period.
Your first online spend earns 100% cashback, capped at RM25. A RM10 purchase returns RM10 in Touch ‘n Go credits, while a RM40 purchase still only returns the RM25 maximum. Your second online spend earns 50% cashback, also capped at RM25. Spending RM10 on the second transaction returns RM5, while RM60 hits the RM25 ceiling.
An eligible cardholder who spends at least RM25 on the first transaction and RM50 on the second can collect RM50 in Touch ‘n Go credits for RM75 of online spending. Online spend covers e-commerce purchases, auto-billing and auto-debit arrangements, and top-ups for e-wallets or telco reloads.
AmBank has allocated 1,450 reward slots per month for the first-spend cashback and 800 slots per month for the second-spend cashback, distributed on a first-come, first-served basis across the three campaign months.
A monthly grand prize of RM10,000 in Touch ‘n Go credits is awarded to two winners each campaign month, for a total of six winners over the three-month period.
Entries are earned through qualifying online transactions. A single transaction between RM50 and RM99.99 earns one entry, and a single transaction of RM100 or above earns three entries. Entries only count within the campaign month they were earned, so there is no rollover into the next cycle.
Winners are not selected purely by draw. AmBank assigns each entry a serial number, shortlists 30 potential winners per prize based on those numbers, then contacts them by phone for a recorded question-and-answer session. Miss the call three times, or answer the question incorrectly, and the prize passes to the next person in line. Because of Touch ‘n Go’s RM8,000 monthly reload limit, each RM10,000 grand prize is delivered as two RM5,000 payouts.
AmBank staff and their immediate families can participate in the monthly cashback portion but are excluded from the grand prize.
The Touch ‘n Go credits arrive as reload PINs sent by email and SMS within 45 days of each campaign month ending. AmBank has stated it will not be liable for missed deliveries caused by outdated customer records, so anyone planning to take part should update their registered email and mobile number before making their first qualifying transaction.
It is also worth noting that entries for the grand prize do not carry across months. Cardholders aiming to maximise their chances will need to spread qualifying transactions across April, May, and June rather than concentrating them in a single month.
