AmBank Revises Free MEPS Withdrawal Limit Across Selected Accounts

AmBank has announced upcoming changes to its Malaysian Electronic Payment System (MEPS) withdrawal benefits, effective 1 July 2025. The bank will discontinue the allocation of eight free MEPS withdrawals per month for several of its savings and current account products.

The affected accounts include the AmWafeeq Savings Account-i, TRUE Savers Account/-i, TRUE Transact Account/-i, AmPartner Current Account, and AmStar Current Account/-i. Customers with these accounts will no longer receive the existing quota of eight free MEPS withdrawals monthly.

For AmBank@work Payroll customers holding any of the above payroll-linked accounts, the MEPS withdrawal benefit will be revised from eight to three free transactions per month.

Customers seeking further clarification are encouraged to speak with a Customer Service Officer at any AmBank branch or contact the AmBank Contact Centre at 03-2178 8888.
