In celebration of the upcoming festive season, Bank Rakyat has announced the launch of its “Jom Raya Bersama iRakyat 2025” campaign, an initiative aimed at encouraging the use of digital banking services through the iRakyat platform. Running from 17th March to 13th April 2025, the campaign is open to all new and existing Bank Rakyat customers, including employees, who utilise the bank’s online and mobile banking services.

To participate, customers must be registered users of iRakyat and complete a minimum of five DuitNow transactions using either DuitNow QR or DuitNow Transfer, with each transaction amounting to at least RM10. New users are required to register their National Registration Identity Card (NRIC) number or mobile number as their DuitNow ID via iRakyat. Transactions can be performed conveniently through the bank’s website or mobile app, enabling users to send duit raya in a seamless and secure manner.

The campaign boasts a total prize pool of RM14,500, with rewards for customers who record the highest number of qualifying transactions. The grand prize winner will receive RM2,000, followed by RM1,500 and RM1,000 for the second and third-place winners, respectively. An additional 100 consolation winners will each receive RM100. Prizes will be credited directly into the winners’ Bank Rakyat Savings Account-i or Electronic Current Account-i (eCA-i) within 60 days after the announcement and verification process.

Winners will be selected by a dedicated committee at Bank Rakyat, with transaction volume being the key determining factor. In the event of a tie, the bank reserves the right to apply further selection criteria. Each participant is eligible to win only one prize, and winners will be contacted via phone or through announcements on the bank’s official website. Bank Rakyat has also outlined strict eligibility requirements, ensuring that those with frozen accounts, bankruptcy status, or blacklisting by the bank are disqualified from receiving prizes.

Those interested in participating or seeking further information can visit the nearest Bank Rakyat branch, call the customer service hotline at 1-300-80-5454, or visit www.bankrakyat.com.my.
