CIMB Campaign Offers Coldplay’s Concert Tickets As Prizes
Author Avatar

If you’re a fan of Coldplay but were unable to purchase the tickets to their Music of the Spheres (MOTS) concert when it went on sale earlier this year, then here’s some great news for you! CIMB Bank has launched a CIMB x Coldplay MOTS campaign where you can win yourself a pair of the concert tickets after all, and it is set to run all the way up until 19 October 2023.

According to CIMB, this campaign is open to all new and existing CIMB customers, and you’ll be required to perform specified banking transactions in order to earn qualifying entries. These entries earned will then put you in the running to win a pair of Coldplay tickets – either as monthly winners or as highest entries winners.

Here are the details regarding the prizes that can be won:

To select the monthly prize winners, the bank will shortlist five potential winners and send an SMS – which contains a question – to these individuals within four weeks from the end of each campaign month. You’re then required to answer the question within eight hours; if you do so correctly, then you will win yourself a pair of Coldplay tickets.

A somewhat similar process is also adopted in selecting the winners for the highest entries prizes. Ten potential winners with the highest total accumulated entries during the entire campaign period will be shortlisted, after which they’ll receive an SMS from CIMB within four weeks from the end of the campaign period. Following that, they’ll need to answer two questions correctly to confirm their win.

If you do win, the prizes will be sent to your registered email within four weeks after the end of the campaign period. CIMB also highlighted that each individual can only win one monthly prize and one highest entries prize throughout the whole campaign.

Finally, no enrolment or registration is required for you to participate in this campaign. Simply go ahead and perform any of the eligible transactions highlighted above to earn entries, and you’ll be in the running to win yourself a pair of Coldplay MOTS tickets!

For context, Coldplay is set to perform in Malaysia in November 2023, with CIMB serving as the official sponsor for the band’s KL concert. Earlier, in May 2023, the bank held an exclusive pre-sale event for its customers one day before opening up sale to the general public.
