CIMB is running its High 5 campaign from 1 July 2026 to 31 January 2027, offering bonus profit on its EcoSave Savings Account-i for customers who save and spend within set requirements.
The 5% rate applies to new-to-CIMB customers who apply online for the EcoSave Savings Account-i with a CIMB Debit Mastercard. Customers who apply at a branch, or existing EcoSave Savings Account-i holders, can earn up to 4% bonus profit instead.
If you don’t have an EcoSave Savings Account-i, you can apply for one online and have your CIMB Debit Mastercard delivered to you.
If you already have an EcoSave Savings Account-i, you can take part by depositing exactly RM28 into your account in a single transaction, using funds not sourced from another CIMB account. You can also register by visiting the campaign page, sending an SMS with “HIGH5” to 62886, or registering through the CIMB OCTO app when prompted.
To earn the bonus profit, customers need to increase their monthly average balance by RM1,000 compared with the previous month, using funds that don’t come from another CIMB account, and spend at least RM300 a month on their CIMB Debit Mastercard across online shopping, overseas transactions or recurring payments.
The bonus profit is capped at RM100 a month per customer, credited on a first-come, first-served basis to the first 1,000 customers who meet the requirements each month.
CIMB Current and Savings Accounts, including EcoSave Savings Account-i, are protected by PIDM up to RM250,000 per depositor. EcoSave Savings Account-i also supports environmental conservation as part of its account features. CIMB Islamic contributes 0.2% of the account’s total average portfolio balance annually towards conservation initiatives, so your savings play a part in that.
