Classic Maybank2u Website to Be Retired for Individual Users In June
Author Avatar

Maybank has announced that the Classic Maybank2u website will no longer be accessible to individual customers starting 9 June 2025, as the bank transitions all users to its upgraded online banking platform.

In the lead-up to the full transition, key services on the Classic site will be discontinued in stages. The Third-Party Account Transfer service will be deactivated on 12 May 2025, followed by the Interbank Fund Transfer service on 19 May 2025.

Customers are advised to begin using the current Maybank2u platform, accessible at maybank2u.com.my, for all their online banking needs. According to Maybank, the modernised platform offers enhanced features, improved security, and a simplified design, providing users with a more seamless and secure banking experience.

The bank assured customers that existing login credentials — including usernames and passwords — will remain valid on the new site. In addition, any scheduled or recurring payments and fund transfers already set up through the Classic Maybank2u site will continue as normal, with no action required from users.

Maybank2u Biz customers, however, may continue to use the Classic site for their business transactions.

Maybank expressed its appreciation to customers for their continued support during this transition and encouraged users to explore the improved features of the upgraded site.
