Maybank is giving away 1,500 prizes to holders of its Manchester United credit and debit cards between 1 September and 31 December 2026, The top prize, given to three winners, is a trip for two to Manchester to watch a home game at Old Trafford. The campaign marks 15 years of the bank’s Manchester United card partnership.
A second offer runs alongside it, giving you a return flight to the United Kingdom once your card spending hits RM80,000 or RM250,000, depending on which card you hold.
You need to register once before your spending counts. Text WINMU to 66628, or use the online registration form on Maybank’s campaign page. Standard SMS charges apply, and your registration is only valid once you get a confirmation reply from 66628.
Only principal cardholders can register and win. Spending on supplementary cards is added to the principal account, but supplementary cardholders cannot receive a prize themselves.
Every RM100 of retail spend earns you one entry. On Manchester United Premier League match days, based on UK date and time, that same RM100 earns two entries instead. Applying for a new Maybank Manchester United credit card during the campaign period earns 10 entries on its own.
Entries are tracked by the date each transaction is posted to your account in Malaysian time, so purchases made close to 31 December may not count if they clear late.
Winners are drawn at random from the pool of entries. For the grand prize, you must also accumulate at least RM10,000 in retail spend across the campaign, which comes to RM2,500 a month over the four months.
| Prize | What You Get | Winners |
| Grand Prize | 4 days, 2 nights in Manchester for two, with flights, hotel, hospitality match tickets, stadium tour and lunch at the Red Café | 3 |
| 1st Prize | Shirt signed by five first team players | 20 |
| 2nd Prize | Shirt signed by one first team player | 30 |
| 3rd Prize | Pennant signed by one first team player | 50 |
| 4th to 6th Prize | Gym bag, notebook or umbrella | 550 |
| Consolation | 15,000 TreatsPoints | 847 |
More than half the prizes are the 15,000 TreatsPoints consolation, worth around RM30 at Maybank’s standard redemption rate of 500 TreatsPoints to RM1. Each principal cardholder can win only one prize, and the trip excludes visa fees, travel insurance, taxes, transport to KLIA and all personal expenses.
Instalments under EzyPay and Flexi Payment Plan, balance transfers, Dial For Cash, cash advances, e-wallet top-ups, annual fees, late payment charges, interest and government taxes all fall outside retail spend. So do transactions with any business you work for or hold shares in.
Maybank can also disqualify you if your minimum payment is not settled by the due date, or if the account is closed before the prize is handed over. Fulfilment runs up to 25 March 2027, so the account has to stay open and paid up until then.
The separate flight offer runs over the same four months. Spend RM80,000 on the Maybank Manchester United Visa Credit Card and you can redeem one economy return ticket to the UK, with the base airfare capped at RM5,000. Spend RM250,000 on the Visa Infinite and you get a business class return ticket, capped at RM18,000.
Only the first three economy redemptions and the first 10 business class redemptions each month go through. You must book at least 60 days before departure, travel from Malaysia, and be the principal cardholder travelling. If the ticket costs less than the cap, the balance is forfeited.
You can register at any point during the campaign period, and entries are counted from the transactions posted to your account through to 31 December 2026. For questions about the campaign or a prize you have not received, Maybank’s customer service line is 1300 88 6688, with enquiries closing on 25 March 2027.
Both offers apply to the Maybank Manchester United cards only, and the flight redemption is limited to credit cardholders. Debit cardholders can still register for the draw and earn entries on their retail spend.
