Maybank has launched a limited-time cash reward campaign for customers who open a new Global Access Account-i through the MAE app, offering RM55 in cash to eligible participants.

The campaign runs from 31 December 2025 to 10 February 2026 and is available to existing Maybank customers who do not currently hold a Global Access Account-i.

RM55 Cash Reward Structure

During the campaign, eligible customers who open a new Global Access Account-i via the MAE app and make an initial deposit of RM555 stand a chance to receive RM55 in cash.

A total of 1,500 winners will be selected across the campaign period, with rewards credited directly into the winner’s active Global Access Account-i. The total cash reward pool amounts to RM82,500.

According to the campaign terms, rewards will be distributed within 45 working days after the end of the campaign period, with payouts expected by 17 April 2026.

Weekly Allocation And Timing

The campaign is divided into six weekly periods, with 250 winners selected each week on a first-come, first-served basis. Only the earliest eligible customers who meet the campaign criteria during each period will qualify for the cash reward.

Eligibility Criteria

The campaign is open to Malaysian citizens aged 18 and above who are existing Maybank customers but do not currently hold a Global Access Account-i.

Permanent and contract employees of Maybank, Maybank Islamic, their subsidiaries, and related companies, as well as their immediate family members, are not eligible to participate.

The Global Access Account-i is protected by Perbadanan Insurans Deposit Malaysia, with coverage of up to RM250,000 per depositor.

Account Opening And Deposit Requirement

To qualify, customers must open a new Global Access Account-i through the MAE app during the campaign period and make an initial deposit of RM555.

The account must remain active until the cash reward is credited. Maybank will try up to three times to credit the RM55 into the account. If all attempts fail, the reward will be cancelled.

What To Know Before Joining

Maybank will notify winners via push notification on the MAE app once rewards have been credited. Customers who close their Global Access Account-i before winner selection or reward fulfilment will not be eligible to receive the cash reward. 

Maybank may also amend campaign terms, substitute rewards of equivalent value, or withdraw the campaign with prior notice.
