Maybank has informed customers that both its online banking services as well as automated teller machines (ATMs) will not be accessible on the morning of 19 June 2021 (Saturday), up until 10am. This is due to a system maintenance exercise that is scheduled to be carried out on the day.

“Please be advised that owing to a system maintenance exercise on Saturday, 19 June 2021, our Maybank2u and mobile banking services will not be available from 3.30am to 10am. Maybank ATMs and self-service terminals (SSTs) will be available from 10am instead of 6am on the same day,” the bank clarified in the official announcement on its website.

Maybank further apologised for any inconveniences caused, and urged customers who have enquiries or are in need of additional help to contact its customer care at 1 300 88 6688 (Malaysia). Meanwhile, those who are abroad can call +603 7844 3606.

If you’ve made prior plans to visit Maybank’s ATMs or to perform any online payments on this Saturday, do take note of this and carry out your transactions either before or after the scheduled maintenance period.

You can find out more about Maybank’s announcement on its official website.
