UOB Bank is currently running its Grocery Cashback campaign, which offers eligible credit and debit cardholders the chance to win up to RM288 daily cashback, as well as RM888 monthly cashback. Organised in conjunction with the upcoming Chinese New Year celebration, the campaign is already ongoing, and will continue until 31 March 2024.

Open to all new and existing cardholders, the campaign requires you to first spend a minimum of RM88 on groceries to earn a chance at winning the daily cashback reward. Upon meeting the minimum spend requirement, check the approval code on the credit card slip that was issued when making your payment; if your code ends in either the digit “8” or “88”, then you’ll be entitled to the following amount of cashback reward – depending on whether your payment was made during weekdays or weekends:

The daily cashback reward will be awarded on a first-come first-served basis, with each cardholder allowed to win one unit per hyper/supermarket per campaign day. It is also subject to the available cashback allocation of RM5,000 and RM15,000 per day that have been earmarked for weekdays and weekends, respectively.

If you do win, the daily cashback reward will be credited into your account within eight weeks after the end of the campaign month.

Meanwhile, the RM888 monthly cashback reward will be offered to 18 eligible cardholders with the highest cumulative qualifying spend (namely, grocery spend at hyper and supermarkets) for each campaign month. Also offered on a first-come first-served basis, each eligible cardholder is allowed to win one prize per month as well, and it will be credited to the winner’s account within eight weeks after the end of the campaign period.

Finally, to participate in this campaign, you’ll need to first enrol your cards by sending an SMS (“UOB3”) to 66300. Once registered, you can go ahead and make the eligible spend; if you have multiple UOB cards, all your eligible expenses on the cards will be automatically tracked for the campaign.
