In his Budget 2023 speech, Finance Minister Datuk Seri Tenku Zafrul Aziz announced that the investment limit for Amanah Saham Bumiputera (ASB) fixed price funds will be increased, as well as a new ASB loan that will be offered at a special rate.

Currently, the holding limit of the ASB and ASB2 funds is set at RM200,000. As an effort to increase investment holdings among the Bumiputera in Malaysia, the holding limit will increase to RM300,000.

In addition, Bank Simpanan Nasional will also offer a new ASB financing facility to help the Bumiputera community in the B40 segment to invest in ASB funds. The financing rate is set at 1.5%, and has a total allocation of RM100 million.
