Budget 2023: Key Highlights To Know

At 4pm today, Finance Minister Datuk Seri Tengku Zafrul Abdul Aziz has tabled the national Budget for year 2023 in the Parliament – amidst much anticipation. With the allocation of RM372.3 billion – up from the previous year’s RM332 billion – it is expected to boost the welfare of Keluarga Malaysia, even as it focuses on the country’s economic recovery and socio-economic development. Accordingly, the Ministry of Finance has declared the themes of Budget 2023 to be “Strengthening Recovery, Facilitating Reforms Towards Sustainable Socio-Economic Resilience of Keluarga Malaysia”.
