Chan Rak BBQ!: On Merdeka Day (31 August) and Malaysia Day (16 September), this all-you-can-eat Thai BBQ spot offers a 50% discount on the second order of an Australian Wagyu tray.

Patriotic Pricing: Deals at RM6.80 and RM68

Merdeka Credit Card Promotions
Using the right credit card can unlock exclusive cashback and discounts.
Maybank: From 20 July to 31 October, spend a minimum of RM100 in a single receipt to earn entries for a chance to win one of 68 Grand Prizes of RM6,800 cashback.
AEON Credit: Between 28 August and 30 September, spend at least RM250 in a single transaction on dining, fashion, or groceries to earn RM68 cashback.
CIMB: Until 30 September, CIMB cardholders can get up to RM68 off bookings made on Trip.com.

Hong Leong Bank: From 15 August to 18 September, HLB is offering special promotional rates on its e-Fixed Deposit products, such as 3.50% per annum for a 6-month tenure.

Public Bank: When you perform a fixed deposit transaction of at least RM50 through pbe, you are eligible to receive 10% cashback, which is capped at RM68.
BeU by Bank Islam: Through its “Mer-duitka” campaign, invest RM1,500 in fresh funds into a Be U Al-Awfar account and maintain it through November and December 2025 to earn up to RM68 cashback. This is limited to the first 2,100 customers.
