“It is crucial for individuals to have a life protection plan that keeps them secure in case of unforeseen incidents. The BSN Takaful Sakinah is introduced as ‘The First Protection Plan’, designed to help the community alleviate financial difficulties of loved ones in the event of demise of the person covered,” said Saifulrizal, adding that the plan is also in support of the Perlindungan Tenang initiative by Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM).

Meanwhile, the chief executive officer of BSN, Jay Khairil Jeremy Abdullah commented that the launch of BSN Takaful Sakinah is in line with the bank’s vision of ensuring that no Malaysians are left behind. “It has been a priority of ours to give all Malaysians the opportunity to enjoy a better life through an extensive network and various services. This plan is mainly targeted at more participation from the bottom 40% community to allow them to obtain takaful coverage at affordable contribution rates,” he said.
