Fashion e-commerce platform Zalora has expanded its offerings to include several new non-fashion-related categories. Among the latest to be added is electronics as well as baby supplies.
Parked under the Zmart tab, you can find products such as cameras, mobile phones and tablets, gaming and entertainment devices, computer accessories, and even kitchen appliances under the new Electronics section, which covers a wide range of popular brands such as Apple, Huawei, Sony, Marshall, Razer, Logitech, and more. That said, the available stock for products in the electronic category appears to be limited; most show only one item in stock.
Meanwhile, the Baby Supplies section covers a wide range of products from baby milk and food products, baby toys, personal care, and even gear such as strollers and carriers.
Interestingly, almost all items under the Electronics and Baby Supplies sections are listed as non-exchangeable and non-refundable items. In other words, Zalora’s flexible 30-day free return policy, which applies to most of their fashion products, is not valid for these items. You will likely need to liaise with the merchants instead of Zalora if the purchased items are faulty.
Additionally, like other products listed in Zmart, the products are classified as non-sale items, which means that they are excluded from voucher codes and other discounts. In most cases, though, you will still be entitled to free shipping when you spend a minimum of RM99 with each seller.
Zalora is widely known as the leading e-commerce platform for fashion products in Malaysia, but following the movement control order (MCO) in the country, it quickly adapted to offer a wider variety of items such as groceries and essential supplies to meet its customers’ needs. These can all be found under the Zmart tab, which covers all the non-fashion or beauty items available on the platform.
