Be U by Bank Islam is running a referral campaign for its Al-Awfar investment account, rewarding both referrers and their friends with RM10 each upon a successful account opening. The campaign runs from 14 February 2026 to 31 December 2026.

What Is Be U Al-Awfar?

Be U Al-Awfar is a Shariah-compliant investment account offered through Be U, Bank Islam’s fully digital banking platform. Based on the Mudarabah principle, the account doubles as a prize draw programme where the more you invest, the more Eligibility Units (EU) you earn, and the higher your chances of winning from a prize pool worth a combined RM18 million.

Prizes include monthly cash rewards of up to RM100,000, gold bars, vacation packages, and a BMW 320i sports sedan as the grand prize. A minimum initial investment of RM100 is required to be eligible for the draws.

Do note that Be U Al-Awfar is an investment account and is not protected by PIDM.

How the Referral Campaign Works

Existing Be U Al-Awfar account holders can share their unique referral code with friends. When a friend uses that code to successfully open a Be U Al-Awfar account, both parties receive RM10 each. There is no cap on how many friends you can refer, meaning the rewards can add up over the course of the campaign.

Tracking Referrals From the App

Be U account holders can monitor their referral progress directly within the Be U app, with real-time updates on total earnings. For friends who have yet to complete the process, the app also includes a nudge feature that lets referrers send a one-tap reminder without leaving the platform.

How To Get Started

To participate, open the Be U app and navigate to the referral section to retrieve your unique code. Share the code with friends who do not yet hold a Be U Al-Awfar account, and both of you will receive RM10 once their account is successfully opened.

Be U is available for download on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Account opening is fully digital and can be completed within minutes through the app.
