Maybank cardmembers now have an opportunity to earn KrisFlyer miles by introducing family and friends to the Maybank American Express Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer Credit Card. The bank is offering a limited-time referral campaign, rewarding existing cardholders for each successful new application.
The promotion, officially called the ‘Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer American Express Credit Cards Member Get Member Campaign,’ offers 5,000 KrisFlyer miles for every successful referral. Eligible cardholders can refer up to ten people, allowing them to accumulate a maximum of 50,000 KrisFlyer miles in total. The campaign runs from 27 August 2025 until 27 December 2025.
To make a referral, an eligible cardmember must send an SMS with the required details to a designated number, 66628. The message must contain “MGMKF” followed by the referee’s name, mobile number, and the referrer’s KrisFlyer membership number. It is important for the cardmember to obtain consent from the person they are referring before sharing their details.
The campaign is open to principal cardmembers of both the Maybank American Express Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer Platinum Credit Card and the Gold Credit Card. To be eligible, a referee must be a new principal customer of either of these cards. This includes individuals who have never held one of the cards before, or those whose card was cancelled more than six months prior to the start of the campaign.
There is a total allocation of 3,000,000 KrisFlyer miles for this campaign, which will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. Miles will be credited to the referrer’s account approximately sixteen weeks after the campaign concludes.
The miles awarded through this campaign are not exchangeable for cash, nor can they be used with any other promotions, coupons, or loyalty programmes. Additionally, the images used in promotional materials are for illustration purposes only.
For those participating, it is important to ensure that their Maybank card account remains in good standing throughout the campaign and until the miles are credited. Any accounts that are delinquent, suspended, or cancelled during this period may result in a disqualification from receiving the reward. All participants are also bound by the full terms and conditions of the campaign, which can be found on the Maybank2u website.
