MBSB Bank Launches Shopee 12.12 Campaign With Instant Savings
Author Avatar

MBSB Bank has introduced a special 12.12 promotion for its Debit Card-i customers. The campaign runs from 5 December to 31 December 2025 and offers instant savings on eligible Shopee purchases. Cardholders who shop during this period can receive instant-off vouchers linked to their spending amount, subject to Shopee’s voucher availability.

Instant Savings When Paying With MBSB Bank Debit Card-i

During the campaign period, Shopee users who pay with an MBSB Bank Debit Card-i can enjoy instant discounts that vary according to their purchase value. The campaign offers RM5, RM20, or RM50 off, depending on the minimum spend reached in a single transaction. These vouchers apply automatically at checkout when the eligible card is selected as the payment method.

The discounts are issued on a first-come, first-served basis and are limited by the voucher caps set for each spending tier. Once the allocated voucher quantity is fully redeemed, the offer for that tier will no longer be available.

Categories Excluded From The Offer

The campaign specifies several Shopee categories where the vouchers cannot be used. These include infant milk for children below twelve months, tickets and vouchers, mobile reloads, gaming top-ups, jewellery, and selected stores. Fuel cards, gift cards, and certain digital items are also excluded.

Only one voucher may be applied in each checkout session. If a voucher expires, it cannot be extended or exchanged for cash or any other form of compensation. The campaign also does not allow the vouchers to be combined with other promotions unless stated otherwise.

How Cardholders Can Redeem The Vouchers

To enjoy the instant savings, customers must be registered Shopee users and must complete their purchase using an MBSB Bank Debit Card-i. When they proceed to checkout, eligible promotions will appear within the payment section. Selecting the card will allow the discount to be applied automatically, as long as the voucher is still available and all conditions are met.

The campaign also states that MBSB Bank and Shopee may cancel suspicious or irregular transactions. This includes repeated voucher claims by the same user or activity that resembles voucher abuse. These measures help ensure the offer remains fair for all participants.

Additional Requirements And Customer Responsibilities

Cardholders taking part in the campaign must comply with both MBSB Bank’s Terms and Conditions and Shopee’s merchant rules. The bank may revise the campaign conditions and will provide notice through its website, branches, or other communication channels. Customers are encouraged to check periodically for updates during the promotion period.

MBSB Bank also notes that it is not responsible for the quality or suitability of products purchased through Shopee. Any issues relating to the goods or services must be addressed with the relevant merchant. The bank’s campaign materials further highlight that its Current and Savings Account-i products are protected by PIDM up to RM250,000 per depositor.

A Year-End Opportunity For Online Shoppers

With the 12.12 period being one of the busiest online shopping seasons, the campaign offers MBSB Bank Debit Card-i customers a way to enjoy extra savings on selected Shopee purchases. Understanding the voucher tiers, eligibility criteria, and redemption conditions allows cardholders to make the most of the promotion throughout December 2025.
