MCash Now Supports DuitNow QR And Transfers Across Malaysia
Author Avatar

MCash users can now pay using DuitNow QR and send money through DuitNow Transfer after the platform joined Payments Network Malaysia as a direct participant.

This allows payments at merchants nationwide that accept DuitNow QR, instead of being limited mainly to MCash’s own network, while also enabling instant transfers using a mobile number or bank account.

Payments Now Work Across More Merchants

MCash can now be used at a broader range of shops and service providers that already support DuitNow QR.

Previously, transactions could not be completed if a merchant did not accept MCash, which required switching to another app. With this integration, payments are more likely to go through without interruption.

Transfers Can Be Made To Any Bank Account Or Phone Number

MCash now supports DuitNow Transfer, allowing users to send money to recipients outside the app.

Funds can be transferred using a mobile number or bank account, without requiring both parties to use MCash. This supports common transactions such as bill splitting, payments to businesses, and sending money to family members.

The Change Improves Where MCash Works

The update does not introduce new pricing or rewards. The main change is access.

MCash is now connected to Malaysia’s shared payment system used by banks and other e-wallets, which enables payments and transfers across different platforms.

What Users Will Notice

MCash can now complete transactions in more situations, both at checkout and when sending money.

This reduces the need to rely on multiple apps and makes the platform easier to use from start to finish.
