Mydin has launched a new shopping service called Mydin Express, which lets you shop for your items online and then pick up your orders from the store once they have been packed and prepared. Described as a “drive thru & self pick up” service, it is currently available only at selected branches in various states, including Selangor, Pahang, Penang, Perak, Terengganu, Melaka, and Kelantan.
To shop using the Mydin Express service, start by selecting the branch that you would like to pick up your items from. Once in, you will be able to view and purchase your required items. Note that you need to select at least RM50 worth of items before you can place your order and check out.
During the checkout process, you’ll be required to key in some personal details, including your vehicle number and mobile number. Once the orders have been prepared, you will get an email and WhatsApp text to inform you about the specific pickup point and the payment method. Upon pickup and payment of your orders at the store, you will then receive your receipt via WhatsApp.
Mydin Express is introduced as another initiative for the hypermarket’s customers to stay safe while getting their essential items during the Covid-19 pandemic and the ongoing period of movement control order (MCO).
To begin using the Mydin Express service, head on over to the website.
