Paydibs Merchants Can Now Get Bundled Great Eastern Business Insurance
Author Avatar

Paydibs has begun offering bundled business insurance through its partnership with Great Eastern General Insurance (Malaysia) Berhad, allowing eligible merchants to receive business protection as part of their Paydibs payment terminal.

The programme was first announced in April as part of Paydibs’ partnership with Great Eastern General Insurance (Malaysia) Berhad to make business insurance more accessible for Malaysia’s micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

Business Protection Built Into Payment Terminals

Instead of applying for standalone business insurance, eligible merchants receive bundled protection through their Paydibs payment terminal.

The coverage protects against risks such as fire, burglary, loss of cash in transit, employer liability and business interruption, helping businesses recover from unexpected disruptions to their operations.

Paydibs chief executive officer Tee Kean Kang said many of these businesses remain vulnerable to operational risks despite their significant role in Malaysia’s economy.
